Oh, my!  Stampin' Up! is hosting its annual convention this week, and rock-your-world types of announcements are being made!!!!

2013-paper-pumpkin-deal

So I'm sure you're asking – what is Paper Pumpkin? It is a monthly craft kit program from Stampin' Up! Every month, Stampin' Up! sends a project kit right to your home. It is a surprise so you never know what is in the box until you open it. The anticipation of opening a bright red package awaits you! You can make the project usually in a short amount of time (around 30 minutes), and everything you need is in the box except for scissors and adhesive. Great idea for a monthly craft time with grandkids or girlfriends – perfect to take on trips or camping too!

Every Paper Pumpkin Kit arrives on or around the 15th of the month.

You need to sign up for the Paper Pumpkin Kit by the 10th of the month in order to get started. The first kit is the Welcome Kit – Then, after the first month, you will get the assigned monthly kit (kit projects vary from cards, journals, party crafts, and other similar items).

With this deal, your first two months are $10 each month (including shipping). The cost to continue the Paper Pumpkin membership is $19.95 per month (which includes shipping). You can cancel your monthly Paper Pumpkin Kit or even skip a month (if you alert them prior to the 10th of the month) at any time.

If you already joined Paper Pumpkin, you cannot cancel it and get the deal. Sorry, this is for new customers only.

Want to Join? Here's How:

To sign up for the monthly Paper Pumpkin Program, click HERE or click on the link to the left of this screen.  Be sure to enter PUMPKINDEAL in the promo code section!!!

The Welcome Kit is the very first Paper Pumpkin you will receive in your first month of membership. The Welcome Kit includes a free gift-a clear acrylic block!  This is what the kit contents include:

You can make four cards with the supplies included (add some more cardstock and envelopes and stamp some more).  Here is one way you can create the card:

Of course, you can create something different with the supplies!

Give it a try!

I do receive commission from these kits, and I would love to have you part of my personal Paper Pumpkin Palooza Patrol! I'm always here to help if you get stumped (although next to impossible). Plus, there are plenty of ways you can use your kit items (stamps, inks, etc.) after you're finished creating. If you're into Pinterest, you know those crafty pinning ladies come up with some really cool ideas too;)!

Have any questions? Call or email me – I can get you started on this fun journey!

Dog Days of Summer Punch Art Card

Welcome to the third 2011 VC Rocks Blog Hop…you've most likely arrived here from the Nichole's website  http://www.scrappystampsandink.blogspot.com/

If you ever get lost along the way during the blog hop, you can go back to the main page – www.vcrocks.blogspot.com .

The theme of this blog hop is Punches Galore!

At least once a year, I host a Just Punchy Stamp Camp.  This event is a customer favorite – so much so I am now hosting 2-3 Just Punchy events each year.  I love teaching my customers how to create projects using Stampin' Up! punches in traditional and out-of-the-box ways.  This Tuesday August 16th is my next one – if you are local to West Bend, WI and would like to attend – send me an email to register!

Today's card was from one of my previous Just Punchy Stamp Camps – and is definitely an all-time favorite.  Throughout the entire United States, it has been a hot and humid summer, so I am now calling this card my Dog Days of Summer Punch Art Card!  I will also be offering this card as a card kit through the end of September.  The background color is actually Cherry Cobbler – my camera didn't seem to capture that correctly!

I hope you bookmark my site or subscribe to my blog. You can also find me on my Facebook page – Stamp With Jane!

What is VC Rocks…and why do I love it?? VC Rocks is an online community where members share their love of stamping before, during, and after the Stampin' Up! convention. If you can't go (or even if you can) to convention, you can get your "stampin' mojo fix" with challenges, swaps, and discussions! I have "met' many fabulous stamping demos and nondemos through this group.

Thanks for stopping by, and now your next stop is Nancy Keithley's blog – http://fancynancykay.blogspot.com/

I will be happy to sell the tutorial to interested demonstrators for only $7.00. For a limited time, I'll be offering the emailed tutorial for only $5.00!!!

The 20 cards I created use most of the self-adhesive die cuts included in the kit – but there will be some cut card stock and Designer Series Paper left over to use on other projects. You can even make the kit go further if you stamp or punch other items to accent the cards.

Why do I create card kits? I LOVE having my customers come to my home for stamp camps and events, but I know there are several stampers out there who just can't make it to my events. This is an easy way for them to keep their creative juices flowing and their card stash filled. These card kits are also great for my stampers who love to create cards, but don't always enjoy planning out and cutting out their cards.

2010 August Card Kit

2010julycardkit-greeting-card-kids

To welcome the kids back to school, I wanted to showcase this brand-new stamp set – GREETING CARD KIDS.  This set is also known as Campbell Soup Kids to my customers!!!!  All images copyright Stampin' Up! –

Untitled-12

This adorable stamp set is in the main 2010-2011 Stampin' Up! Catalog on page 36.  You have both the wood-mount option at $20.95 or the clear-mount option at $15.95.

I've also used the Tart and Tangy stamp set on the Real Red piece (stamped in VersaMark).   Isn't this card perfect to make for the first day of school?  Better yet, why not make a packet of them for your child's teacher!  What a great way to earn some brownie points!

I created several different versions of the card to show the versatility of this card design.

                                       2010julycardkit-santa              2010julycardkit-tool

These cards use the same 2010 August Card Kit items, but just rearranged differently and using other stamp sets!  This card format is so versatile, and the colors used are perfect for holiday cards and even masculine cards!  I know my customers always need new ideas for masculine cards!

I posted my August Card Kit page – you can find all the details on ordering this kit by clicking on the Card Kits tab and picking the August Card Kit.  Orders for the August Card Kit need to be in by August 20th.
