My eldest son, Steven, is on the front right of the picture. Each family provided a picture of the 8th-grade athlete from their K3/K4/K5 years to provide contrast to how much they’ve changed throughout the years. It’s hard to believe they’re reaching the end of their grade-school years.

At my Simple Christmas Gifts Stamp Camp, I wanted my customers to create a NONholiday-themed gift. The reason for this is simple – by the time you share your holiday gifts with others, the holiday decor comes down very soon afterwards!

I used a basic wood plank and had my son Michael spray paint it (thanks, Mike!) with a cream-colored paint. The Inspiration Decor Elements set has four sayings (life, hope, faith, and love). It is easy peasy to cut them out separately and get 4 projects out of 1 set. I used some retired flower Decor Elements for these plaques, but there are several other choices still available you could use. Just add some picture hangers to the back, and you are all set!

Oh, I am so excited about sharing this item!!!!

I know many of the blogs have already moved on away from Fall/Halloween projects and are pursuing the Christmas project traffic. However, Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, and I just can’t give it up yet.

I am a craft supply hoarder! I have had these glass blocks in my possession for about 3 years! I had wanted to do a etched glass piece for Christmas a couple of years ago, but alas, it never got done.

When I saw how great those pumpkin faces worked on the glass containers, another idea popped into my head. This is really very easy, and I took step-by-step pictures. I am hoping to add a slide show with those pictures to this post.

Here are the supplies you need:

Spooky Expressions from Stampin’ Up! Definitely Decorative Catalog (three faces for only $4.95!!)

Decor Elements Applicator

Glass Block

Small Light Set (if you can find orange lights even better)

Large Ribbon

Exacto Knife

Clean the glass area – if there are stickers, make sure you clean them off.

Take the plastic plug and use the Exacto knife to cut an X through it. (My dear son, Michael, did this for me!!!)

Lay the block flat on your work surface.

Prep the Pumpkin Face piece with the applicator to release it from the grid portion.

Lay the Pumpkin Face piece on the glass block and use the applicator to release it from the paper.

Make sure to smooth out any air bubbles.

Insert the light set into the glass block (remember to cut off any tags).

Push the "male" end of the light set through the X’d plastic plug.

Decorate with sparkly ribbon. You may want to put orange raffia inside the glass too (be careful – don’t let it stay plugged in too long!).

Put it in a window or on your mantle to showcase it!

At my Fabulous Fall stamp camp, my customers altered these glass canisters with the Definitely Decorative Spooky Expressions. Aren’t these just adorable? You can fill them up with candy, potpouri, tissue paper, candles, or any other goody. I think this item is such a fabulous deal – you get three "faces" for only $4.95! Certainly, you could use them all on one project (like a metal washtub or large wooden sign), but I like the ease and functionality of separating them out!

My customers also made little boxes using the Big Shot and the Box #2 die. They stamped with the Frightful Nights stamp set and embossed the gift tag with the new Grateful Greetings stamp set. They filled them with yummy chocolates. You could easily make a bunch of these and add them in the jar as a staff gift or to hand out for your trick or treaters. These would be a big hit! I love the Box #2 die – it only takes just a small bit of Sticky Strip to complete the box.
