2013-2014 New Catalog Ribbon Share

The new catalog is live!  I am always so excited to see the new accessories – especially the new RIBBON!  I use lots of ribbon in my stamp camps and classes, so I always need full rolls, but my customers sometimes just want a sampling of our ribbons.  I am happy to create ribbon shares so they can find out how WONDERFUL our ribbon options are!  This year, I have 8 different shares.  Here are the details:

2013 Color Refresh

More exciting news posted on the demonstrator side of the website today – we're getting a Color Refresh!  Color is fundamental to who we are and what we offer.  It's important for us to stay current with color trends.  Stampin' Up! is updating its color lines for the upcoming catalog.  They did a big color renovation in 2010 and announced they would be introducing smaller color refreshes every three to five years to keep their colors on trend.  It's been three years already!  Stampin' Up! will be including 10 new colors (which are mostly returning IN COLORS) to the upcoming 2013-2014 annual catalog.  They are welcoming back some of your newer favorites, moving some colors around, and introducing one brand-new neutral color.  Here's the new combinations:

Be sure to get as much paper/ink/refills/accessories for the retiring colors as soon as possible – they are only available while supplies last!  This weekend's FREE SHIPPING special is a great excuse to place your retiring colors order!

For The Birds Word Window Latch Card

At my Technique Tuesday class this month, I taught my customers how to make a Word Window Punch latch card. 

Here's how you do it:

1. Cut your card stock at 4-1/4" along the short end.
2. Fold card stock in half.
3. Take the BOTTOM of the base card and find the center of the short side of the card stock.  Make a small pencil mark at this point about 1/4" above the edge of the card stock.
4. Punch out a Word Window with the small pencil mark in the center.
5. On the FRONT piece of the base card, punch out a PARTIAL Word Window on each side just at the edge (you'll use about 3/4 of the punch). 
6. Decorate card to finish!
