Fabulous Florets Rock N Roll Card

This quick and easy card was made by stamping the flower first in the lighter color in (Daffodil Delight) and then rolling the edges in a darker color (Cherry Cobbler).  You do need to clean the stamp before reinking each time.  This color combination reminds me more of fall.

Adding a thin strip of embossed polka dots is just the right touch to this simple card.

Secret Garden Thinking of You Card

Here is another collage-style card made from a One Sheet Wonder page.  Love those!  The phrase is from the Wetlands stamp set; the flowers are from Secret Garden.

Wetlands Thinking of You Card

Quick and easy card today – I even had the embossed polka dot strip already set to go!  You could use this card for a masculine birthday, thinking of you, sympathy, get well, or for any other general occasion.  Just a little bit of sparkle on the side from the glimmer brad – Enjoy!

2013 Hostess Appreciation Invitation Dress Up Framelit

This May I hosted my annual Hostess Appreciation event.  I was actually pretty stoked about how my invitation turned out!

2013 Hostess Appreciation Party Invite

I used the Apothecary Accents framelit plus the Dress Up framelit.  My stampers know I love polka dots – and our Polka Dot DSP is my favorite!

Flower Fest Glitter Window Card

Welcome!  You may have found me today if you are following the SU Stars Blog Hop from the previous stop – Denise Foor Studio

One of the new stamp sets in the mini catalog is Flower Fest – love, love, love this stamp set!  I also used Teeny Tiny Wishes for the card phrase.

Flower Fest Glitter Window Card

I created a glitter window card which is really easy and super pretty.  Here are the instructions for this card:

  1. Layer a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White on top of 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" Certainly Celery card stock.
  2. Run a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of So Saffron card stock in the Polka Dot embossing folder.
  3. On the So Saffron, punch out a hole large enough to showcase image (I used the 1-3/4" circle punch)
  4. Stamp the rose image in Daffodil Delight using the punched piece as a guide.  Set aside the punched piece and then stamp the leaves in Old Olive.  Color in the rose with a So Saffron marker and the leaves with Certainly Celery marker.
  5. On the back of the punched piece, attach a piece of clear packing tape so the "sticky" side faces out.
  6. Pour Dazzling Diamonds glitter on top of the clear packing tape and tap off the excess.
  7. Attach So Saffron piece to card base.
  8. Tie ribbon in knot.
  9. Stamp phrase, insert brad, and adhere to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Top Note Die Purse Card

My favorite Big Shot Die has to be the Top Note Die.  It is exclusive to Stampin' Up! – and there are truly hundreds of ideas for this one die!  Here is an example of one I created with some of our new colors – Early Espresso, Blushing Bride, and Pear Pizzazz.  I also used a Basic Jewel for the "latch" – those are so fabulous and soo sparkly!  The phrase is from one of my favorite new sets – Just Believe.
