Jeani’s Birthday Card
One of my coworkers celebrated a milestone birthday today. She is totally devoted to our school kids and is loved by all. I created this special card for her day.
Lots of Big Shot items used on this card – Circles, Stars, and Large Number framelits and the Stars embossing folder. The balloon punch and silver thread (sorry, not visible in this photo) were also used. Our school colors are red and blue so that dictated my color combo.
Hope it was a fabulous day, Jeani!
You could easily change this up for an anniversary card, graduation card, retirement card, or even a sports team-themed card.

Shrek Punch Art
One of my co-workers is in the Shrek production this weekend and next. I created this punch card to wish her luck (aka “break a leg”).
I did use some retired items such as the Top Note Die (my children will have to tear this from my hands before they bury me) and Lucky Limeade card stock (the perfect green for Shrek). I was a little heavy on the sponging on this one. I liked how the banner punch worked for his ears.
Of course, my co-worker did an amazing job!

My Digital Studio Little Boy Birthday Card
Little boys and cars…a match made in heaven!
Today I am sharing a card that would have been perfect to give any of my boys. They loved anything to do with transportation!
One of the best things about My Digital Studio is that colors never retire! I will really miss Not Quite Navy and More Mustard when they leave our color selections with the new catalog. I'll never run out of card stock or ink when I create my cards in MDS!!!
I did some recoloring of the car with this card. What a super-easy way to match the focal image with the Designer Series Paper!
Did you know that May is National Good Car Care Month and Transportation Month?
