Heat and Stick Ornament Card

This is one of the cards my customers made using Heat and Stick powder.  The ornament is so sparkly!  I used the pine tree from Lovely as a Tree for my "branches" – aren't I clever?

The colors for this card were Melon Mambo and Wild Wasabi – certainly nontraditional – but my customers loved it!  The Fine Cosmos pink glitter worked great with the combination!  I am so glad our glitter brads are with us for a while.  I love them!

Big on Christmas Holiday Card

Today I am sharing several samples I made for one of my recent events.  My hostess wanted to see how our Heat and Stick product works.  I confessed to her that I was not always quick to use this product myself.  However, after playing with it, I couldn't wait to create some Christmas cards.

Basically, Heat & Stick is an embossing powder glue.  Once you heat set it (just until "wet" – no more or the glue is dried before you want it to be), you sprinkle on glitter or other embossing powders and reheat so the other powder will stick on your item!

This card uses our Top Note die in a different way.  You run the die through the machine once, then turn it halfways and run it again!  It really makes a fabulous new shape for crafting!  The stamp set used in Big on Christmas, and I used the fine green glitter for the tree.
