Gently Falling Collage Acorn Card

I’m still using that One Sheet Wonder image sheet – here’s one with embossed acorns made from the Autumn Accents die and the Square Lattice embossing folder.  The wood button give the card a more earthy, rustic feel.  The phrase is from Six-Sided Sampler

Gently Falling Island Indigo and Eggplant Thanksgiving Card

Island Indigo and Elegant Eggplant…what a rich color combination!  That coordinate so well with the Very Vanilla and gold embossing accents.  Love those leaves embossed in gold.  Here is the card I created with those “ingredients”:

Wonderfall Embossed Leaves Card

Autumn….a much nicer turn of a phrase than fall, right?  This card should get you right in the mood of the season.

Wonderfall-Gold Embossed Leaves

I love to emboss, and I still am amazed when the fragments of dust melt into something so beautiful!

Gently Falling Thinking of You Collage Card

I’m at it again with that One Sheet Wonder image sheet – quick and simple thinking of you card. A little sparkle from the gold glimmer paper.  The phrase is from Wetlands (I just love the font on those phrases).

Happy Halloween! Toil & Trouble Z Fold Shaving Cream Card

Happy Halloween!  May you receive more treats than tricks!  Here’s a treat – a technique mash-up card!  The shaving cream is the background of the focal image (one of my favorite techniques of all time), and it is also a Z Fold card (well, upside down).

Plus, I colored my large gem with a sharpie!

There’s also a secret spook inside when you flip it open!

Dracula Top Note Punch Halloween Card

If I could only have ONE Big Shot Die, I know which one I’d choose…TOP NOTE DIE!  You can create so many lovely and FUN projects with this die!

Here’s one of the punch cards my stampers made at my recent Fall and Winter Holiday Cards Stamp Camp.

Dracula Punch Card Top Note

Dracula’s eyes and nose are made from circle punches – 1″ and 3/4″.  Eyelids and nose are sponged in Wisteria Wonder.  Dracula’s teeth are made from our Pennant Punch (trimmed down) and sponged in red.

Please, Stampin’ Up!, don’t EVER retire our Top Note Die!

World Card-Making Day – Gently Falling Oak Leaf Card

Today is World Card-Making Day!   What cards do you need to make?  I can always use “Thinking of You” cards – they serve so many purposes!

Love this color combination for fall – Elegant Eggplant, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla, and Brushed Gold.  So very elegant.  The leaf was embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Sending cards with lots of embellishments can be tricky with the postal service.  So here’s a quick tip – use cardstock circles instead of brads.  They add interest, layers, but not a lot of bulk.  This way the card can be easily mailed.
