Big on Christmas Holiday Card

Today I am sharing several samples I made for one of my recent events.  My hostess wanted to see how our Heat and Stick product works.  I confessed to her that I was not always quick to use this product myself.  However, after playing with it, I couldn't wait to create some Christmas cards.

Basically, Heat & Stick is an embossing powder glue.  Once you heat set it (just until "wet" – no more or the glue is dried before you want it to be), you sprinkle on glitter or other embossing powders and reheat so the other powder will stick on your item!

This card uses our Top Note die in a different way.  You run the die through the machine once, then turn it halfways and run it again!  It really makes a fabulous new shape for crafting!  The stamp set used in Big on Christmas, and I used the fine green glitter for the tree.

Midnight Raven Glitter Halloween Card

At my Stamper's 10 meeting this week, my hostess requested a project using Stampin' Up!'s Heat & Stick powder.  This month was a Christmas theme…but I'm not ready to post Christmas cards on my blog YET.  So here is an example of heat and stick with our Fine Cosmos Glitter using Midnight Raven:

I'm hoping to post lots more Halloween cards this week – have to squeeze them in before next weekend's SUDSOL blog tour (I'm featuring Thanksgiving cards).
