Throwback Thursday – Nativity Christmas Punch Cards

Punch cards have been a customer favorite for many years.  For Throwback Thursday, I had to revisit an old version from a stamp camp in 2011.

Baby Jesus lying in his manger…complete with some hay.

This year, I created a companion piece for the nativity…the Three Wise Men.

I love our glimmer and foil papers – they were perfect for the crowns.  The phrase comes from the Star of Light stamp set.  My customers loved this card, and it was a big hit as a swap at the Madison OnStage event last weekend.

Doesn’t this card beg for you to start singing Christmas carols…We three kings of Orient are…

Camera Punch Art Birthday Card

Today we celebrated the birthday of one of our dear nieces, Julia, who is a budding photographer.  She’s also quite a smart and beautiful young woman!

Here is the birthday card I made for her:

Camper Punch Art

It has been a rough few weeks – one of the big obstacles for me and my blog is my watermark.  For some reason, my WordPress blog is no longer liking the watermark I’ve been using for over 3 years.  I’ve tried to reload it, rework it, and it is just leaving me frustrated and sad.  If you are a WordPress blogger and/or know what I need to do to fix my watermark, please let me know.  It is getting the best of me!

At this week’s Mardi Gras Punch Stamp Camp, this was one of the favorite cards!  I used the Window Frames framelits for the main camper section, Retro Fresh DSP, and the You’re Lovely stamp set to create this card (along with several punches of course).

I hope you like it!

Fall Scarecrow Punch Card

I think my customers (many who have become some of my best friends) know how much I love punch art stamping.  Besides Christmas cards, it is probably my favorite thing to create in my stamp room.  With all the resources out in the world wide web, our creativity is certainly boosted by other stampers sharing their works of art.  I based this card on another one I saw a while ago and just changed a few things.  Even after “professionally” stamping for 13 years, I rely on CASEing (copy and share everything) for some projects.

I’m asking anyone who reads this blog over the weekend to share where they find their inspiration.  I’m going to do a drawing for a free package of Basic Pearls on Sunday evening.  Just leave your name, email, and one place your crafting muse comes alive.

And to my faithful customers, thank you for your support and friendship over the last 13 years!

Here’s one of the punch cards my stampers made at my recent Fall and Winter Holiday Cards Stamp Camp.

Dracula Punch Card Top Note

Dracula’s eyes and nose are made from circle punches – 1″ and 3/4″.  Eyelids and nose are sponged in Wisteria Wonder.  Dracula’s teeth are made from our Pennant Punch (trimmed down) and sponged in red.
