Welcome to the blog of Jane Hignite, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

Goodbye 2011! Hello 2012!

At last month's Technique Tuesday class, I taught my stampers how to modify the glimmer paper by dyeing it!  By using the Wisteria Wonder refill, we changed the hue of the background and made this very sparkly card:

This is a Z Fold Format – and the Top Note Die (an SU exclusive) is perfect to use for this!  My customers really liked the different color scheme for this vintage-feel card using Greeting Card Kids.

I have truly neglected uploading my projects on my blog this holiday season.  My new year's resolution is to share more and hopefully inspire my readers with my creativity.

There have been some great moments this year, but to tell the truth, I'll be happy to say goodbye to 2011!   I am looking forward to a fresh new start in 2012.  May joy come often and unexpectedly to you this year!

A Long Farewell to Always

Starting today, I'm going to be posting some of my favorite cards using some of the retiring Stampin' Up! stamp sets from the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog.

Today's share features Always!

This background for this card was created using the Chalk Lines technique.

Here is another sample using the Z fold card format.  The Top Note die is a perfect addition to this format!

For this card, I color embossed using my VersaMark pad and my Rose Red pad.

I will truly miss this set – it was also great for the collage technique!

2010 March Card Kit

2010marchcardkit

I posted my March Card Kit page – you can find all the details on ordering this kit by clicking on the Card Kits tab and picking the March Card Kit.  I created this card for my Birthday Blowout stamp a stack this week.  It is a Z Fold Card.  Orders for the March Card Kit need to be in by March 19th.

I created several different versions of the card to show the versatility of this card design.
