25 Days of Holiday Projects – Day 3

Sorry for being out of the loop for a while.  My computer was having some major issues.  Thankfully, it is all fixed now.

Glass Ornament Glitter Balls are really easy (but can be a bit messy) to make.

 Aren’t they gorgeous!

Directions are as follows:

Purchase clear glass ornaments.  Remove gold holder (but save for later).
Gently wash out the insides to remove all residue.  Set aside to dry.

Once dry, make sure you have a protected surface (you may also want to wear gloves).  You also need ink refills and glitter.  Put about 25 drops of ink refill into a glass ornament (you may have to add more/use less depending on the size of your ornament).  Swirl around to completely cover the inside of the ornament.  Add about an 1/8 teaspoon of glitter (I used Dazzling Diamonds of course) into the ornament.  Holding the opening closed with finger or scratch paper, swirl or tap the glitter all over the inked inside.  Set aside to dry.  Insert gold holder and put on tree!
