Welcome to the blog of Jane Hignite, Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator

25 Days of Holiday Projects – Day 7

Today’s project is another example from my Simple Christmas Gifts Stamp Camp.  If you have access to a die cutting machine (hopefully, a BIG SHOT!), you simply must have the Top Note die which is exclusive to Stampin’ Up!  This die can be used in so many different cards and projects.  This project is an adorable gift box.

We used the pine tree for Lovely as a Tree for pine branches and Delightful Decorations and Many Merry Messages for the remaining stamped images.  The Joy image is my favorite from that set (I love swirls!).  After punching out the ornament, we added the loop and popped it using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Emboss the Merry Christmas  phrase (the brushed silver cardstock is perfect for a little more bling!) and stamp Merry Christmas in Always Artichoke.  Tie the box shut with the Real Red dotted ribbon.

The box is a perfect way to enclose a gift card, candy, or other small gift!

Oh Jane this is so pretty as are your other projects. We just moved back into our house almost a month ago and I’m getting my office/stamp room set up finally. It’s pretty close to being done. I think of you everytime I put a card in one of your sleeves. I so appreciate what you sent me last spring. The goodness of so many demos just overwhelms my heart and makes the tears come every time I think about it. I am so, so blessed. Now that I’ve found your website again I can get it booked marked here on the new computer I eventually got. I miss visiting all my stamping friends blogs, websites and such. Here’s wishing you and yours a very blessed holiday season. Hugs! Renee
