Garage sales – a summer tradition in my life! My mom and I spent many a summer weekend checking out garage sales, tag sales, rummage sales…whatever the term you are familiar with. Personally, I always loved checking out the dinnerware, glassware, and linen section…oh, and of course the book section – there isn't a children's book I don't like (except the Carl the Dog books-sorry Mom). The day my husband and I found out we were pregnant, the first thing we did was go to garage sales looking for baby items! Kind of silly, but it is a funny memory for us.
