Midnight Raven Watercolor Wash

I just loved how this turned out – especially the cloud feathering look where the colors meet!  The skull is punched out from the Nite Owl DSP.  Watercolor Wash is a perfect technique to use with our Watercolor Paper.

Here's the directions to the watercolor wash technique:

  1. Pick out two or three dye ink refills.
  2. With a paint palette, put a couple of drops of dye reinker in the wells.
  3. With a small measuring spoon, add water drops to until you reach the desired color.
  4. Mist the Watercolor Paper to dampen the paper.
  5. With paintbrush or Aquapainter, apply watercolor wash.
  6. Brush piece and then set aside to dry.
  7. Stamp, emboss or use as a background.
