Snow Much Fun Slider Card
Welcome to the SU Stars Blog Hop…you've most likely arrived here from the main page www.su-stars.
I can't seem to get the new Snow Much Fun stamp set off my stamping table. I don't think my customers are too surprised about that! I've created a fabulous moving card using the slider card technique.
Here are the supplies you need:
- Basic Black/Real Red/Whisper White card stock
- Snow Much Fun/Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
- Stazon Black/Real Red ink pads
- Markers – I used Basic Gray, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake, and Pumpkin Pie
- Word Window/Modern Label Punches/Crop-A-Dile
- Real Red Ribbon
- Sticky Strip/2-Way Glue/Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
- Paper Cutter/Scoring Blade/Bone Folder/Adhesive/Scissors
Here are the directions:
- Score a half-sheet of Basic Black card stock at 2-1/4" and 6-1/4".
- Put a piece of Sticky Strip on the inside of one side. Take off red tape and adhere to other side.
- Stamp images on front and inside Whisper White pieces in Stazon Black.
- Color in images with markers.
- Highlight snowman, ground, and snowball with Dazzling Diamonds glitter and 2-Way Glue.
- Stamp front phrase in Real Red and punch out with Word Window. Punch out Real Red piece with Modern Label Punch.
- Stamp inside phrase in Real Red.
- Mount all pieces keeping the inside piece separate from the base.
- Make a center mark on base Whisper White piece – punch large hole through all the base layers with Crop-A-Dile.
- Thread ribbon through center.
- Push down ribbon with inside piece until invisible. Inside piece will then rest on ribbon.
- Tie bow.
- Pull up the inside piece using bow as the lever.
