Sweet Centers Hot Air Balloon Scrapbook Page
When my husband and I first moved into our home, Saturday mornings usually meant listening to hot air balloons rise and fall in our neighborhood. We loved watching these beautiful balloons skim the trees and sail into the clouds. Riding in one of these balloons is still on my bucket list.
I had a customer workshop this weekend with a request for a scrapbooking make and take. I created a 12 x 12 layout, and the guests created an 8 x 8 layout. I wanted to use the new Stampin' Up! Framelits, a different color combination, and punch art in my page. This is what I came up with:
I used the Domestic Goddess DSP for my color inspiration – Pool Party, Poppy Parade, and Daffodil Delight. All the ladies loved it! Here are some close-ups of this page:
The guests made the 8 x 8 page and also the balloon accent.
The clouds were easy to make with a punched out scallop, sponge, and Pool Party ink.
