For my new catalog card buffet, I wanted my customers to create simple yet attractive cards. Bright Blossoms is one of our newer stamp sets – and I love it paired with the new phrase set Sweet Essentials. I'm also drawn to the color combination – Pool Party, Island Indigo, and Lucky Limeade! My customers tried out our new paper piercing templates – LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Sorry – it is a bit difficult to see in the picture.
The larger piercing pad is wonderful too – I'm considering buying an extra one for STAMPING! You can get a nice crisp image when you stamp on these (before they are pierced!). The side scallop is from our Big Shot Tasteful Trim die – and the paper piercing template fits this edge to a "t".
At my New Catalog Card Buffet, I served a dessert from my childhood. It's called Chocolate Dream Pretzel Torte. The ladies loved it! Here is the recipe:
Jane's Chocolate Dream Pretzel Torte

- 1 large package chocolate instant pudding (or 2 small packages)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 16 ounces Cool Whip
- 3 cups milk (I used skim)
Directions

Mix 1 C. powdered sugar and 8 oz. cream cheese together until smooth. Add 1 C. Cool Whip. Spread over crust.
Mix 3 C. milk and 1 large pkg. instant chocolate pudding. Let set in refrigerator for about 10 minutes. Spread over cream cheese mixture.
