Throwback Thursday – Classic Pick-Up Trucks
I live in a house full of men. Yeah, sounds great, but sometimes not so much. But I love them, even down to their grease monkey ways.
When Stampin’ Up! has a car-themed stamp set, I am usually ordering it right away.
Classic Pick-Ups is a stamp set from the early 2000s, and I still have it. When my boys were younger and wanted to make me really happy, they would create birthday cards for their dad and other brothers with this set. Here is an example of one of our creations:
Now Guy Greetings has a great classic car in the set. Some stampers have a tough time with this stamp set as there are some images that are not easy to work a card around. Try using the stamp set with a collage format, and you will love it.
However, I kind of stuck to the same type of image – the Model T. Of course now we have my all-time favorite tool, the Big Shot. Lots of Labels framelit set and silver paper help this card pop more this time around.

Great comparison of the two cards! I too love the Bigshot and all that goes with it!
Love the classic old vehicle for a guy card. Your card looks just right for the stamp. My next car card will definitely use the Framelits labels to showcase the stamp! Thanks for the idea!
