Christmas in July Skating Bird Card
One of my WOW cards from last year's Christmas Card stamp camp featured the cute skating bird from the For the Birds stamp camp. The background was actually pretty easy to do using sticky notes, inkpads, and sponge daubers. The key is to start burnishing the sponged area off the card stock and gradually move in. This way you really have a softer touch on the landscape and less chance for obvious dots. Lovely as a Tree is a great stamp for landscapes! The Shimmery White card stock adds just a bit of sparkle too!
