Wacky Wednesday – Happy S’Mores Day Card
Hello everyone~
Today my Facebook friends got to vote on what card to highlight for Wacky Wednesday. They got to choose between two holidays – National Duran Duran Day or National S’Mores Day. You guessed it – they picked s’mores.
I had a totally different idea when I went into my stamping area, but luckily, inspiration came quickly and brought some fire (yes, pun intended) into the design.
I used only three punches for this card and both the Foxy Friends and Fresh Fruit stamp sets (the phrase is from the Fresh Fruit stamp set).
I sponged the bottom of the main image and the marshmallow with Soft Suede. The stick is our new classic label punch, punched only a one-third width. The logs are the same label punch, and the flames are the tail of the Foxy Friend punch. The marshmallow is the 1/2″ circle punch.
Of course, I used a marker to adjust the saying. I’ll practice that a bit more the next time.
That little raccoon is just the sweetest little thing, don’t ya think?
