Snowman Framelits Card
This week was my last Technique Tuesday of the year. The Weekly Deals featured the Snowman framelits (without the Snow Place stamp set). I wanted to show a card using the framelits WITHOUT the stamp set so I came up with this card:
Ok, so the card did use the phrase from the stamp set, but that was it! The technique was an Aquapainter wash using the Color Me Irresistible designer series paper. We learned the technique at the OnStage Local event held in Milwaukee the previous weekend.
Color combination is Whisper White, Basic Black, Pool Party, and Island Indigo.
Winter has finally arrived in Wisconsin…snow is lovely, but drive safe everyone!

Festive Flurry Snowflake Card
Oh, you are probably going to see this stamp set made into darling cards everywhere on Pinterest. Here is my first card I made with this GORGEOUS snowflake stamp set:
Be sure to keep tabs on this blog – you’ll be seeing it here too! This color combination is very popular right now because of the coordinating Designer Series Paper – Pool Party, Island Indigo, and Silver.

Wonderfall Embossed Leaves Card
Autumn….a much nicer turn of a phrase than fall, right? This card should get you right in the mood of the season.
I love to emboss, and I still am amazed when the fragments of dust melt into something so beautiful!

Polka Dot Pieces Flower Card
Quick and simple with a rich color combination – that is all I need to say about this card. Well, and I need to be a better photographer.

Cherry Cobbler Embossed Leaf on a Paint Chip
Didn’t that title get you excited? I love the names Stampin’ Up! combines with our products. Remember my post a while ago about my craft hoarding? Well, paint chips are my weakness. I adore them – and the names given to the paints make me swoon too! Here is a rich color combination (Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede, and Naturals Ivory) using my favorite stamp sets Gently Falling and Wetlands (phrase). That Cherry Cobbler embossing powder makes that leaf pop off the paint chip! Those wood buttons are perfect for this card too!

Illuminate Me Halloween Hello Card
With all the new products coming out, sometimes we forget about ones we’ve had for a while. This card uses the Illuminate inkpad to create those scary skeleton skulls and baker’s twine in Island Indigo to hang our bat!
