Autumn Harvest Fossil Stone
Fossil stone is a fabulously easy technique you can create with very few supplies.
- Plastic Card Protector Sleeve (sides cut)
- 2 Coordinating Inkpads
- 2 Pieces of Glossy Paper
- Brayer
- Open card protector sleeve. With an open inkpad, smoosh one ink on the inside of each sleeve side.
- Put the glossy paper pieces back to back with the glossy sides on the outside.
- Put in sleeve and flip the top sleeve side down.
- Rub the brayer back and forth.
- Lift off the top part of the sleeve and set pieces aside to dry (a minute or two).
- Use as a background or stamp on top of it!
Here is an example of a card using this technique:
I also used the new waffle paper and antique brads. On the Cajun Craze layer, I sprayed some Shimmer Spray.
