It's here…it's finally here!

SALE-A-BRATION starts today and ends March 31st.  This year there are even more items to choose from including 4 limited-edition stamp set, 69 stamp sets from the annual catalog, a Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents Pack, a Ribbon and Button Pack, a Digital Content CD, and a Chalkboard Decor Element.

All you need to do is place an order of $50.00 or more to receive one free item – incremental purchases of $50 will earn an additional item!

Hostesses earn an additional item if their workshop merchandise total is more than $300!  Contact me today if you want to schedule an event.

Here is a sample of one of my favorite Sale-A-Bration stamp sets – Punch Bunch:

I used Always Artichoke ink on one of the Texturz plates (Perfect Details).  I added small pearls on the right side.  The coloring of the flowers is done with markers.

Have a great day!

Punch Bunch Shaving Cream Valentine

Welcome to the SU Stars Blog Hop.. you've most likely arrived here from http://www.raissastamps.com .

If you want to start at the beginning, the home page is http://su-stars.blogspot.com/2011/01/sustars-hop-201101.html .

One of the most requested techniques from my customers is the shaving cream technique.  I taught my new recruits this technique last night.  It is always a crowd pleaser!  Here is the finished card:

The Crumb Cake piece is actually attached to the front of the card so when you flip it open you can write on the inside.

The Punch Bunch stamp set is one of the Sale-A-Bration sets you can pick out this year.  The Owl stamp and the True Friend stamp are from Punch Bunch; the Heart stamp is from the current special stamp set – Filled with Love (check it out on the top right side of my blog); and the Happy Valentine's Day stamp is from Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  You could easily change this card to an anniversary, friendship, thank you, or birthday card by just changing that last stamp!  This color combination is perfect for masculine cards.

SALE-A-BRATION starts on January 25th!  Contact me if you want to place an order, host a workshop, or sign up to be a demonstrator!

In case you have never tried the Shaving Cream Technique, here are some quick directions:

On a disposable plate, spread some some shaving cream out.  I use a disposable plate for quick and easy clean up!

Put 3-4 drops of each ink color refill (I used Crumb Cake and Real Red on my card).

With a few toothpicks, swirl the drops of ink refills – don't mix too much or you'll muddy the colors.

Lay your cardstock on top of the swirled shaving cream.  Let it sit for about 15 seconds or so.  I find that Whisper White and Very Vanilla work best.  You can use the Naturals or Confettis and even Crumb Cake and glossy card stock.

Remove the cardstock from the shaving cream pile.  Scrape off as much of the shaving cream mixture as you can with your spreader.

Wipe off the lingering excess shaving cream from the cardstock with a tissue or paper towel.  Set aside to let dry for a few mintues.  (I made two pieces!)

If you want more effect, you can dip it back into the shaving cream and repeat the process.

You can stamp right on top of it or use it as a background.  You will notice the cardstock will be smoother and will smell nice too!

Thanks for stopping by, and now your next stop is –  http://fancynancykay.blogspot.com .
