At a recent Technique Tuesday stamp class, I taught the Four Square Technique. To fit on a normal-sized card, the outer square layer is 3-1/2"; the inner layer is 3-1/4". You can use the scallop square or large square for the outer punched pieces, and circles or smaller squares for the inner stamped pieces.
