Wickedly Wild About Washi Tape-Large Paper Clips
This was another item my stampers made at last week’s Wickedly Wild About Washi Tape Stamp Camp. Another item in my stash (I know, I know) I found that was perfect after perusing the Pinterest posts was large paper clips.
Here is the one I designed:
The directions are pretty easy. Here are the materials you will need:
- Whisper White CS
- Washi Tape
- Large Paper Clip
- Sticky Strip
- Stampin’ Dimensionals
- Punches/Accents for Middle Accent
- SU Grid Paper
Here are the instructions:
Cut the card stock just a little shy of the width of the washi tape. For this size of clip, the length was 8-1/2″ long by 3/4″ wide.
Lay the card stock strip on the grid paper (helps with eyeing the matchup). Carefully apply washi tape to one side of the card stock (washi tape will not release easily on this little piece), turn over and apply washi tape to the other side of the card stock – make sure it is smoothly put down on the card stock. You don’t want to see the Whisper White CS – this CS is just to make the washi pieces sturdy.
Cut strip into 2 pieces – one about 3-1/2″; one about 5″. Curl the 5″ piece with a pencil or your fingers and set aside. Make pennant on 3-1/2″ piece by cutting in center and then cutting off triangles. Apply a 2″ section of Sticky Strip to the pennant piece – keep red tape on for a bit yet.
Take the larger piece and make a large loop – trim if too big before releasing the red tape. Once happy with the size of your loop, take off the red tape and butt the ends of the loop at the middle, pressing it into the Sticky Strip.
Put Stampin’ Dimensionals on either side of the large paper clip. Release the paper pieces from the Stampin’ Dimensionals and press to either side of the loop. Then take washi tape and gather the loop in center and adhere to the back of the pennant piece.
Add accents, punches, etc. to dress up the clip.
Enjoy!

Wickedly Wild About Washi Tape-Memo Board
I created a few items for display when Washi Tape was added to our new catalog. It sure helps to be a craft hoarder (this year’s mantra). I checked out one of my stashes and found an item perfect for altering – a whiteboard/memo board!
My customers actually made their own (yes, I had a dozen of similar items) – it was amazing how creative they were! This project is perfect for your shopping list, family appointments, babysitter info, or chore list! Here’s the one I made using Witches’ Brew…I love those skulls. Keep in mind, since the washi tape is removable, you can use the same memo board over and over and just change the washi tape!

Wickedly Wild About Washi Tape-Skeleton Domino
This week I held my Wickedly Wild About Washi Tape Stamp Camp. OMG. I just love this stuff. It is so versatile and forgiving. Here is one of my favorite items we made this week:
It’s just a domino covered in our Witches’ Brew Washi Tape! I stamped on top of it with the skeleton from Toil & Trouble in Staz On ink. All you need to do is attach a pinback or a magnet – what a darling little item to share!
