Today's post is one of the techniques I taught last month to my stampers.  Our Gently Falling stamp set is perfect to use for this technique!

Medallion Stampin’ Mist Resist

I taught the Stampin' Mist Resist technique at a recent Technique Tuesday class.  It was a huge hit – especially for those who have difficulties with bleaching fumes.

The supplies you need are as follows:

  • Large, bold image stamp
  • Inkpad
  • Whisper White CS
  • Versamark Pad
  • Stampin' Mist
  1. Ink the Whisper White CS all over with a dark (but not too dark) colored inkpad.
  2. Ink the stamp with VersaMark, then spray mist lightly over the stamp.
  3. Press stamp into inked cardstock and release.
  4. Set aside to dry – as it dries, it will look like the image has been bleached out.
  5. Add a phrase and some bling and you're done!
